Alright competitors, the first update has been made to the sidebar of the blog reflecting changes though Saturday's events. You'll notice that the countries at the top all have received medals and the first number indicates the pre-games entries while the second number represents the entries due to medal winnings...this will be the number that changes throughout the games. I will keep them in order of most entries total.
The second group is the non medal winning teams, and I will get around to grouping those in order as well at some point. Again, the medals number is 3 entries for gold, 2 for silver, and 1 for bronze (ex..USA had 1 gold, 1 silver, and 2 bronze, so the USA entry has an additional 7 points added to the score).
Good entertainment so far. The skating and moguls last night were definitely good entertainment, though I am not so geeked about figure skating tonight. "Amazing Race" anybody?
Enjoy the day!

my fiance is geeked about the amazingness, and so the race it is for us too. Plus, this is a Curreling house, no interest in figureskates.
ReplyDeleteAnd the events last night were great fun. We watched 4pm on til after 11.
How come two people are marked as having Russia? I'm pretty certain I was the first to be labeled as having Russia but I'm not sure. I had picked #24, and I think I was one of the first to sign up.
ReplyDeleteHa! Russia was added on their twice....hmm, must have been twice on my random list (I guess I really like Russia. Well, I will go ahead and count all Russia medals for both of you.
ReplyDeleteI thank you for creating interest for the olympic for me. I have one question. Where are the Slovenian atheletes. I haven't watched every event but seen quite abit and nobody from my country. Oh well, I guess I will root for the randomiser.
ReplyDeleteyou can go to they olympic website and look up each country and their athletes and it will tell you which events. NBC is only covering the hot events, so chances are you need to watch online or just read about it!
